Anomalous Phenomena and the Limits of "Scientificism"
For the sake of continuity & coherence, this ‘lead off’ post of ‘therebellionoftime’ will deliver a brief overview of it’s companion site -
where we’ve been reconstructing the (obfuscated)story of the disappeared FRANKLIN EXPEDITION of 1846-4? in the fashion of a ‘crime novel’ or ‘detective story\gothic horror novella.’ Because my current focus of interest lies in the pending ECLIPSE of April 8th 2024, what comes in the aftermath, and the conjunction of that topic with the many many other puzzle pieces which will be used in order to solve the EVEN BIGGER crime being presently conducted against humanity in it’s entirety.
Migrating on over from the The Franklin Trip site for the moment, this post follows up on that post so as to allow for connecting up some of my older work with the current stuff.
The partial eclipse of 5 March 1848, shown above from the center point of 71.8°N 91.7°W happened in the immediate neighborhood of where the two ships of that expedition had been frozen into the ice north and west of KING WILLIAMS ISLAND.

The position of the ships at the time of this eclipse stood them closely off of the position of ‘magnetic north’ somewhere to the east of KWI, and roughly half way between the expeditions position in the ice and the focal point of the eclipse shown.
A great deal of attention is being given by the press at this time to the “path of the eclipse” - as to where & when the ‘totality’ of it’s full coverage of the sun will be seen. All kinds of prophecies, predictions, bibical parallels, and so on being postulated.

This discussion on the GREG REESE substack Major Events Surrounding the April 8th Solar Eclipse is one of the better overviews of the subject - we’ve got everything from “red heifer,” to masonic conspiracies to earthquakes and probably extraterrestrials too - but what I wish to do is to throw in
this… as a favorite tool and compendium I’ve drawn from in the course of my researches.
although Lake Ontario is not the largest in the Great Lakes chain, it has one rather weird, if not deadly, anomaly that none of the others possess. It has the Marysburgh Vortex. This vortex, like the famed Bermuda Triangle, is a swathe of water in the eastern end of the lake that has a long history of bizarre circumstances that have caused the loss of numerous ships and their crews. According to marine insurance records, the Great Lakes have a higher concentration of shipping accidents than any comparable area elsewhere. And it has held this unenviable position for over a hundred years.
All the hype about the so-called “Devil’s Comet” (12P/Pons-Brooks)aside, the fact that it’s appearance in 1812 presaged a period of severe earthquakes throughoutthe midwest is of importance to this study - and not only because it involves one of the heros of my youth! Shawnee chief Tecumseh was not only born under the appearance of a cometary body in the sky, but he and his brother “the Prophet” really ‘went to town’ with the heavenly bodies appearance in 1812. Having correctly predicted it’s arrival, the brothers were also able to dress the subsequent seismic disturbances in the guise of ‘punishment of the white man’ for his sins of trespass!
Will whitey see similar seismic punishment in store for his many sins - imagined or real - of the moment? Well, I’m not ruling it out… but I have concerns with effects that while perphaps more subtle in nature may be equally or even more damaging in the long run.
Again, on this map of the “Devil’s Comet’s” 1812 trajectory, we see the southern and eastern Great Lakes involved. Once again, we turn to Hugh Cochrane for insight into the zones where ‘science’ not only falls short - but abandons the field:
In 1966, an experienced pilot was flying his light aircraft on a well-established route along the south shore of Lake Erie, southwest of Lake Ontario, when he encountered a fog that enveloped his plane and blotted out all visual contact with the earth.
Within minutes he was isolated in a white sea of nothingness, unable to tell up from down. He shouted into his microphoneto the stunned controllers at the Cleveland Air Traffic Control Center, saying that he did not know what was the matter, that he was spinning, that he was falling His radio transmission ended abruptly at the same time that his blip disappeared from the radar screens of the Cleveland Air Traffic Control.
The United States Coast Guard launched an immediate search over the land and water in the area where the plane was last reported. The search lasted several days but not a trace of the missing aircraft was ever found. It had entered the fog and had silently passed into oblivion.
Just one of hundreds of instances of mysterious voyages ‘into oblivion’ in this Great Lakes zone. But when you consider that places like “East Palestine” Ohio fall into the same line of the comet’s passage, there’s no need to get too “out there” for explanations. As last year’s train wreck disaster shows us, we’ve got critters more impossibly evil and malign running our governments than anything you can imagine about ‘greys’ or ‘reptilians!’ Think what you will about those entities kidnapping human beings for purposes of weird experiments and sexual soirees… the freaks we are supposed to call our ‘leaders’ exceed the ‘space critters’ for weird twisted ritual performances hands down! A fact that wasn’t entirely lost upon me when assembling my story “DISEASES FROM SPACE - SPACE FROM DISEASES” late last year -

I then topped off that outburst with a return to more ‘level-headed’ banter -

Given that good start… on the LONG MARCH away from adherence to any form of ‘scientificism’ in pursuing our “enquiry” into the cosmic crime being uncovered,,, it’s only fair to be made aware of some of the salient FACTS I would soon nuff be digging outta the “biology” closet in order to close the nets around the perps!

In September 2004 NASA’s Genesis spacecraft, toting samples of solar wind, failed to deploy its parachutes after atmospheric reentry. Because of improperly installed parachute-deployment switches, the high-speed impact led to a severely banged-up capsule and the contamination of its prized shipment. Fortunes turned less than two years later, in January 2006, when NASA’s Stardust mission successfully parachuted to Earth a capsule sprinkled with particles spewed by Comet P/Wild 2, providing a rich bonanza of material for subsequent laboratory scrutiny.
The capsule’s wobbling arc ended in a crash into the soft salt flats 40 miles west of Salt Lake City. The Salt Flats were probably not soft enough for the 55 hexagonal fragile wafers that were used to gather up particles from the sun. Scientists had been worried that if the capsule crashed, the samples would be contaminated.
However, there were others who worried that the crash contaminated the area of the western desert in Utah and those possible extraterrestrial microbes would spread out and appear as some unknown disease.
The precautions were already made – the probe crashed near a bio-weapons facility.
We suppose that if anything was released it was contained.
However, years after the probe crashed there were reports of a strange disease that was plaguing people — and some were calling it an extraterrestrial like plague.
It was reported in the media that a few cases of a disease that when contracted would produce a filamentous microorganism usually, via oblong black filaments embedded in the skin that patients of the disorder claimed would crawl through the body.
Morgellon’s disease had arrived and many people called it the alien disease because nothing else like it manifested in humans. It has been called a fibrous form of scabies, or leprosy – it was even diagnosed as a psychological disorder. The idea of the disease being an extraterrestrial plague has been downplayed so that modern medicine would take it seriously. Further inquiry results revealed that most of the Morgellons afflicted had also bacterial co-infections, acquired probably by a fungus vector, which may transmit also bacterial or viral pathogens.
Could it have been the result of an astrobilogical contamination?So far it is simply a case of Post hoc ergo propter hoc– or “Since event Y followed event X, event Y must have been caused by event X. But we absolutely do not know what the sample return from Bennu will bring back to earth. That is if it is successful.
Scientists are claiming that the regolith from the Rock would open secrets to the creation of our solar system.
If scientists have already identified a virus in space on a space rock like Bennu, perhaps very few people would claim the discovery was not evidence of life in space.
The truth is that when one considers the whole virus replication cycle, it comes close to NASA’s working definition of life: ‘a self-sustaining chemical system capable of Darwinian evolution or invading the planet.

The film, “The Andromeda Strain” offers a warning about planet-to-planet contamination and that perhaps a true alien invasion would not be conducted by little green or gray men, but by a virus that attacks humans in such a way that no doctor or epidemiologist can find a cure and thus creates a cosmic nail in your coffin.
The story provided by Michael Crichton spins a scenario where a sample retrieval satellite is sent into space to collect microorganisms for study. A malfunction occurs and the retrieval capsule crash lands in a desolate area of Arizona. The alien virus contaminates the area.
Just like what happened in Utah — or what could happen with the BENNU retrieval.
The OSIRIS-Rex spacecraft was designed to be in contact with Bennu for six seconds, but it ended up plunging 1.6 feet (0.5 meters) into the asteroid's surface for 17 seconds instead. A victim of its own success, the probe dug out so much material that particles began leaking out of the sample collector's head — but they were still protected inside its outer lid. On Monday, Lauretta blamed a 1.3-inch (3.5 cm) Bennu stone that appeared to have jammed open a small flap on the head and let the material escape into the lid.
